computer help: my laptop speakers aren't working

So I muted my speakers for my laptop so I could take it to work without making a lot of noise when I restarted. Well, now I can't get any sound coming out of my speakers. Everything is unmuted, and I went through all of the device managers and everything seemed ok. I have restarted a couple times now and still no sound. I tried playing a song in iTunes as well as playing a DVD.

plugin some headphones and see if you get sound.

Might sound stupid but did you make sure the sound is all the way up? The volume dial on the laptop...

I don't have any, I'm at work. Fawk.

yes, the volume is up to where i should hear sounds/music. i sprayed my computer a little bit ago with a can of dust remover spray. i hope that didn't screw anything up. :noes:
