Default paypal question

is there a way to send someone a paypal payment and have not not use funds that are in your account?

i have $41.XX in my paypal account but I'm buying something online with that and I don't want to screw up that transaction so is there any way to send the payment for the other item solely from my credit card?

yes, but if you use the credit card it automatically uses the funds in your account first, then the credit card for the balance. echeck is the only way to have it not use the balance first.

Paying for something while the other transaction is pending will not screw up the first transaction, because your CC is there waiting to be swiped when you need it.

Hope that helped.

i used my paypal debit card for the smaller transaction. if i pay or the bigger one now, it will depelete teh paypal funds and my paypal debit card won't go through.

i think i figured out a way arond it, though. i can just paypal someone my balance and have them do a refund so i dont lose any money to fees.

what's the difference where the money came from? you'll just have two transactions on your CC statement, but it will still come to the same total.
