It's not far south of Dayton, also Cincy is only ~50 miles away, dunno if you'd have a rental car or how long you'll be here.. those would be your best bets for entertainment.

Middletown kinda sucks. But Dayton looks pretty decent.
30min plane rides with large woman that hates planes, sweating and is squished in on one side of you and the bathroom on the other side..... sucks.

I fail to see how famous people and a theme park closer to Detroit than Cincinatti have anything to do with Ohio sucking or not.
