Kid blatantly hit his son way after the play was over. He deserved it. It's not like it was a disciplinary situation. What he did was assault, plain and simple. Adults are supposed to be able to act responsibliy in a social setting. The fact that this guy was the coach only raises the expectation of professionalism IMO. Clotheslineing a 13 y/o kid is not a justifiable action. While felony assualt charges are excessive, banning him from coaching is entirely appropriate IMO. |
