Cingular Users: Question.....

Can I get an unlocked phone off ebay, and pop in my sim card and use that phone, or do I have to register that phone with Cingular?

I dont think you have to register phones with Cingular like you do for Verizon. I think the account just follows the SIM card.

as long as the phone is unlocked with Cingular, yes just pop the SIM card in and it works. Pretty much all the phones on ebay are unlocked for all carriers with SIM cards
