I picked up the special milk for kittens. she didn't eat much but she has stopped crying, and is sleeping now. the vets office is closed and I think she'll be fine tonight so I'm going to wait and take her by tomorrow or friday. If things change I'll ring the vet that's on call. I'm not sure how old she is. She seems a bit big, like she should be eating solid food. And when I gave her some she put it in her mouth but didn't chew. I checked her teeth and she's still missing some so I'm guessing around 4 weeks. For now she seems to be doing better.

If you are able to get to a pet store get a soft syringe and get food in her if she doesn't eat something in a few hours. It sounds bad to syringe feed, but she will love you for it in the end.

she's got a little in her. I'm guessing she ate what she could, after starving for a while she probably can't handle the normal amount yet. If she doesn't eat more later I'll call the vet.

Good to hear that you are going to the lengths to give her a life again. They often are the best cats ever too.

Read that for help.

There is no way that kitten is 4 weeks old.
Kittens weigh about 2 to 4 ounces at birth; they should double their body weight in the first week. Annie, the kitten you see here, is under 1 week old.

Eyes open at 7-10 days. If eyes seem to be pus-filled or sealed shut, open and clean with a warm wet cloth and apply Terramycin ointment (sold at pet stores) until the infection clears up; if it doesn't, consult your vet as it may be a more serious eye infection.

Eyes will stay blue until they are about 6-7 weeks old, but true eye color won't settle in until the kitten's about 3 months old.

At about 3 weeks, they will start crawling around. At 3½ weeks, the ears will start to stand up. At 4 weeks, they'll start to play with each other and develop teeth.
If the eyes are blue, then chances are its younger that 7 weeks. If they're a different color, then its older. Loosing teeth, I would say a few months old.

Edit: Sorry, I thought you said looseing teeth, nevermind.
