Default Painted Rims?

so i got a honda civic, its got green pearl paint, and i was deciding on whether or not paint them the same color as the car...how do you think it would look...honest opinions......and has anyone seen anything like that before....and how did it appeal to you?

i saw a electric blue mini on the road today, it had matching lip color on the wheels. looks kinda cool. but it was a little too much since it had the union jack top and mirrors.

I saw a yellow porsche with color matched wheels on the freeway the other day...

i think the only car i've seen with body colored matching wheels are cars that have more than 1 color on the body.

you gotta have some sort of contrast between the body and the wheels. so if you want to paint to match body, do part of the wheels. like the spokes only, or the lips.

I had white wheels on my old white teg...yeah it was during my ricer phase. Please learn from the mistakes of others.

The problem with the porsche that I saw was that everything was yellow. Kinda like looking at a civic that had everything that was black on the car color matched (mirrors, mouldings, trim, etc.).

It's like he bought 5 gallons of paint and just went crazy with the car. Granted the work looked good, it was just too much yellow.
