The newbie's first thread. Hope it's not a repost...h:

I just watched the trailer for Ghost Rider with Nicolas Cage. I must say that this movie looked like it had major kick ass potential. It doesn't come out until February '07, but I've already heard great things about it. Here is the link if anyone wants to check it out:

i want to see it just because i used to read ghost rider as a kid, but lots of the peeps around here don't seem to like it. :sad:

 

seems like Marvel does 2 movies a year, one in Feb ... one in June.

Feb: Daredevil, Electra
June: Spiderman, Xmen, Hulk, etc

agreed. this one looks like it has potential to do some serious romping. i hope they keep it dark, kinda like batman begins and not some kiddy crap like Fantastic 4. THAT was crap

i love marvel, but i haven't see: daredevil, electra, hulk, fantastic 4

they all look cheesy.. :hs:

i really enjoyed: spider-man 1 & 2, x-men, x2, last stand

i'm really looking forward to spider-man 3 & ghost rider.

man, it's been a great decade for superhero movies.

the cg for ghost rider just looks horrible. i'm wondering if he will really look like that or the studio is trying to pull our chains.

 

well the fact that the movie is comming out in Feb leads me to believe that the movie is going to be crap. I'd have more faith in the movie if it came out during the Thanksgiving-Xmas time frame. After the holiday implies that its left over crap that would have no chance making it as a blockbuster. If its dark like the Punisher was then it will have some hope. remember, daredevil and electra both came out in the same time frame that ghostrider is being released.

 

i want to see how they do blackheart.
