All the parts are now together, $700 later, figure it's best to not cut any corners.

Cookie to the first correct guess as to what exactly I'm doing.

Good stuff, but a tremendous waste of $700.

I was friggin surprised when it all added up to that much but it was all or nothing, prolly gonna be another 40-50 to get the bushings pressed in too. :hs: I think I got ripped on the TA's, $150, should've haggled, nothing special about some LS TA's they'd probably never sell anyways. h: I hope the calipers and wheel bearings are good, I also hope I can fix the LCA mounting point one one of them, stripped the shit out of it pulling all the arms off, they gave me everything attached. Everything else should be good though, Goodridge lines, brembo rotors, hawk pads matching the front ones I had, I got the right 90-91 Si prop valve which is not the same as the 4040 integra one which is for bigger front brakes. Upgrading to the 7/8 MC, same size as the 90-91 CRX. OEM E-brake lines, OEM TA bushings, ATE super blue fluid.

My brakes better feel friggin awesome, I hate the sponginess, my sisters GS-R pedal feels much better and I'm jealous.

It'll help brake feel a bit, but not a terrible amount. Sponginess might just need the lines bled, and you're also rolling on dinky wheels and tires.

You'll gain 2-3 feet quicker stopping distances with rear discs versus a drum setup, but the only real benefit of rear discs is that they fade a whole shitload less than a drum setup. So unless you're tracking the car and really pushing the limits, it's kind of a waste IMO.

But that's just me.

I've bled it so many times, never fixed it. Drums are also starting to make funny noises. I've driven the car hard enough many times to get the brakes fading, it really doesn't take much. Happened at auto-x too. I'm really after the feel though, hopefully it'll do that much. I've noticed that most 4 wheel disc cars I've driven have better brake feel than rear drum cars. :dunno: We'll see in a couple weeks.
