I worked at a Mac Authorized dealership, and it's a trip what REALLY happens to your machine when you leave it there.
Your music library... RIPPED
Anything of value including any installers you have w/ serials... RIPPED
HDD with warranties rarely get shipped back to the manufacturer. EVER.
Data Recovery..... SERVICE CALL ONLY on a drive YOU BOUGHT. Don't let your busted HDD leave the house.
