Sure. I know there are government grants to be had... somewhere.

You have to research it and qualify, but the money really IS there.

Any idea where to start. Me and my dad are contemplating opening up a "business". Our city is trying to revive our downtown area and offers a nice compensation to open a business in one of the downtown buildings.

Man... I dunno. I really don't know how legit THAT site is, I just know that Uncle Sam does give you money for things like that if you qualify. If the risk isn't very high, indulge the info that site has to offer, and see what's up.

Better yet, go to your local City Hall, and get info on what it takes to get a spot downtown. If your credit isn't BAD, you might be surprised if they designate a certain amount for first timers or something.

I may try the site. I am just rightfully skeptical of web sites such as that.

EDIT : I entered my info and... Pay Only $3.97 Shipping and Handling. LoL

Yea. Just dont go up to City Hall and say... "Me and my dad want to start a ... "business"... "

They usually dont like that.
