I went to the drag strip last night to watch my friend with the SRT-4 run. There was another Evo out there so I went to talk to him.

Me: Nice car, have you ran it yet?
Him: Yeh. It runs 8.2's off the street, and 6.8's on methanol and nitrous
Me: 6.8's? How much are you spraying
Him: 25shot
Me: What year is it? (It was an MR so had to be an 05)
Him: It's actually a 1994
Me: What?

Him: Yeah, I took a 1994 Galant VR-4 frame and did an Evo conversion. (He then opens the door). See the sticker there from the Galant. (Looks like it had been peeled off and stuck on there). I found a wrecked Evo and pulled the motor out.

Me: They didn't make the Galant VR-4 in 1994, not in the USA atleast.

Him: Oh yeah they did, they brough 500 of them over. I had to cut 6inches out of the frame to get the Evo rear doors to fit.

Me: Whatever dude

Him: Do you not believe me?

Me: No, I'm tired of listening to your bullshit.


He then proceeded to tell my friend that he was running a 2.4L stroker motor with a GT42R but was only running 14psi on pump gas.
