acupuncture anyone?

Default acupuncture anyone?

heres my question. anyone ever had it? im thinking of treating my dad to a session. he has really bad muscle acke, and the only few things that help him is rolfing massage, if anyone knows thats pretty intense stuff. i just wanna know if acupuncture will help him.

My entire family goes.
My sister:
She has lupus(It attacks her joints) and now arthritus and its helped her alot.
My dad:
Was in a really bad car accident 30+ years ago and has had a really bad back ever since. Acupuncture has helped it a bit and has helped alot with his arthritus in his hands (Carpal tunnel syndrome)
My mom:
Shoulder surgery. Helped with the pain alot.
Me:
Tendonitus.

now do you have to be positive toward it? thats what i got a sense of from the guy today, something about mind and finding your "chi"* my dads not the most positive person most times.

No, it helps though. I was doubting it till about 10 minutes after it was over and my wrists weren't hurting. Tell your dad to give it a shot. Its great stuff.

The needles are really small and not much of it goes into you.

They also have something else they do.

this is one area where acupuncture can help. Can help not will help. It depends on the practitioner.

I myself have benefitted greatly from acupuncture.

Quick story.
When I was 2, I got Polio. I wasn't able to walk anymore or move my lower body at all. For the next 6-9months I was taken to just about every modern doctor available (in korea). All of who said I will never regain movement in my lower body let alone walk again. From 3-5 I was taken to a acupuncture sessions. This guy was good, at times I had 200+ needles in my body. After 2 years I regained movement and was able to walk again.

Yeah you don't have to believe it but I'm living proof. For muscle aches/pains and such acupuncture has good results.
