Good question. I'd like to know. I get a little tired of counting in my head before I can do it again.

searches take up alot of server resources

i use the time between searches to do searches on other forums :oh:

Perhaps the admins could set up a google search for the forum. Reefcentral went to that since they usually have about 2000 people on the board at all times.

Well you can do the same right from google.

Put something like this in the search line:

site:honda-acura.net 1993 integra exhaust

It will only search the honda-acura.net domain. The only thing it won't find it things like restricted forums that the google bot cannot get into. I rarely use the search feature of a forum, just use google, it's crawling the forums all the time anyway.

But I gave more detail, if someone follows my way they can easly figure out how to do the same for any site, even if it doesn't offer the option. :oh:
