How big of a crack/chip? Its its bigger than a dime or quarter, they can't fix it. They really can only fix chips so they don't spider out.

Next to the pick-a-part in Sun Valley, they take your old one out, put a good used one in, and seal it up pretty good for $100. Had it done before. It's on Glenoaks Blvd.

Or pay a little more through insurance and get a new one with a professional seal.

nancy I did it myself on my truck. It was pretty small for me though. I went to autozone and bought kit for $10. You can handle it yourself, I am sure.

Yeah it's sealable.

In the future, if they opt to replace it always request OEM even if it's a bit more. The cheap places always give you low grade stuff from China. The cheap stuff doesn't last.

Friend of mine runs a few glass shops and they usually give low grade to those that do not request it. Also make sure they didn't crack any of the seals and do not scratch your paint, i've seen it happen at his place. h:

Why pay 10 bucks when most insurances will cover it for free?
