Eclipse GST or 240sx?

Eclipse GST or 240sx?
I love my rex, but I want another car to drive while my baby is on it's ass like it is sometimes
. I have a friend who's willing to sell me a 97 eclipse gst spider for 2500, and another who wants to sell his 91 240sx, at an unknown price. Both are 5spd. The eclipse needs: a new top, a driver's side headlight assembly, some minor interior work, and I think it may need a headgasket, but surprisingly, this car does not smoke. The 240 needs some minor interior work, new motor mounts and front struts, and that's about it. I'm having a tough time deciding cuz i'm thinking the 240sx has some potential especially with an sr20det swap, but the eclipse already has 210hp and only weighs about 200lbs more than the 240, not too shabby for a convertible. What do u all think?

I'm very "iffy" on the mitsu. I've never really liked their quality, but my friend's selling it for cheap, and he's a good friend, so I know he wouldn't screw me over. I like 240s though, so I'll probably end up goin with that car. Thanks guys.
