Default someone needs to learn the internet

My friend is searching for a fairly cheap car with good gas mileage and he found a 97 civic lx with 80k miles all stock. The seller said he was selling it for $7k, which is about $2k over kbb. My friend told him that it was a bit high and the seller continued to say that it was only $300 over bluebook value.

He was probably looking at dealership instead of private party value.

I'd think 4-5 would be fair, that kid is on crack if he thinks he'll get 7 for his car.

bluebook is always too high. No used car should actually sell near the bluebook value.

He's stupid for even considering getting that much for the car.
