Just use dream weaver. It's just fine. If you need to get into hand coding, go for it. Most people will never see the code and don't have a need to see it either.
I've used Frontpage, Dreamweaver, notepad and vi. Dreamweaver would be my first pick for easy and speed.

Dreamweaver is as I said good for the beginners, but you aren't learning HTML you are learning how to point and click and thats it. Any seasoned HTML coder can easily tell if someone has used a WYSIWYG editor like Dreamweaver or Frontpage as the code is very messy and unorganized.
