I would rec. 04 and up...I prefer the bug-eye wrx's, but the transmissions have known flaws in them, and I would tend to stay away from them unless you are planning on building the trans later.

Why don't you go drive the cars on your list and see which one you like? Unless you're looking to be super competitive at the local autocross, the car you choose is not going to be the limiting factor in your times. The carbon-based lifeform behind the wheel will.

so far ive driven the TC, ive driven a subaru before but it was the sti , I have driven the SI but i wasnt allowed to drive it kinda hard because my dad was with me and the guys at Honda wouldnt let me do it without my dad so i couldnt really run it hard but i did like it though. also the rsx they had one on the lot that i drove the 02` i think so i just want some insight on what would be a good (not extremely expensive) car that i can use as a daily drive to school and back and then go do autoX on the weekend
