Bally Total Fitness centers are joined up again with the Discovery Channel for their annual Discovery Health Challenge, which is an 8-week health/weight loss program to help promote better health and lifestyles. All you have to do is register online and print out the Free 8-week Bally Pass. It starts on Jan 14th for 8 weeks (2 months) and its pretty cool. I did it two years ago and there are no strings attached. Just print out the pass and take it there on the 14th and you get full unlimited access to the gym. Of course they'll give you a tour and try to sign you up for a year membership, but you can easily refuse and just say you'll think about it and use the gym for those 8 weeks for free. I did that over the summer, some promotion through Self Magazine where I got 2 months free gym membership. Pretty cool.
