LCD's are infinitely better than plasmas.

And should I buy a service plan with an lcd?

That's the 23" I'm looking at the 32". I've found it for about $1400 shipped from other site's, but I like the idea of being able to pick it up at a local store and having 0 interest payments for 24 months.

And to some of you that's against plasma, stop with that Plasma's Burn-in problems. The new technology has improved and you can get rid of that easily, so no, it's not con anymore.

I'd prefer Plasma for now for the Price and quality. They have better response time than the average LCDs. But there're some awsome LCDs that's super good.

So then again, it's up to your own preference
