my car has been sitting around outdoors with no head for 6 months. :oh: Let it fully warm before driving, and do an immediate oil change, and you should be okey dokey.

Forgive me for asking this, but what was damaged? :oh:
What has been repaired / replaced?
Did they nick the whole drivetrain? Or did they simply joyride in it?

i'm assuming they stole it for the engine, no one goes through that kind of work (alarm, immobilizer, killswitch, parking brake on and i believe i left the car in reverse) for a joyride, plus they yanked the ECU and locked the doors when they left it in the cool down spot

it was mostly cosmetic, but who knows how they treated my baby since it has yet to be run since (no ecu=no start :()
:edit:
i'm just hoping they stole it for the engine and drove it like it was their own car

Let me re-state my question...:oh:

What was missing or damaged when you first retrieved the car?

rear bumper was all screwed up cause they pushed it, the driverside door and door frame saw damage and dings to the top left sides.

the entire underside of the dash was ripped apart, the steering column was ripped apart the back seat was bent in two (they just decided for sake of time not to find the killswitch but to rather try and connect it directly to the battery with speaker cables) i think he had to get thru my firewall somehow to get the cables to the battery, not sure if there is a hole on the passenger side or not, i didnt have the car all that long.

immobilizer chips were busted, no ecu. the drivers seat was ripped up on the bottom. center console was ripped up, my kill switch forcefully ripped out. and the alarm has to be replaced. ignition was nonexsistant

other than that i really have no clue as i only really saw the car twice since it happened. but i'm doing the through inspection of the car before it leaves the shop. (taking out the back bench seat to see if it's still all bent up or if they just pushed it back down.. stuff like that) i'm seriously holding the insurance company to ever little bit because we told them flat out that i wanted it back in the condition i had it in or not back at all when i first talked to them.

oh and the asshats took my dohc vtec badge... effin ricers

i paid a premium to buy a stock GSR with little wear because in my mind they are more rare than a type-r, and i knew that i'd be able to get top dollar for it with the way i care for my cars.

 man i hate that. thieves need to die. I would hate to see what my itr would look like if it got in the wrong hands

honestly, get lojack.

they found my car less than 45 minutes after i reported it. the guy was able to sit there waiting for them to come back for around 9 hours, but he was dead ass tired and they are so understaffed that he just couldnt wait any longer.

basically the tow truck came and stole it back from the thieves.
