decided i want a nano, how much should i sell my mini for?
 

its like a year old, my friend's got stolen out of his car, so he said he'd buy mine from me.. im thinkin 100 bucks.. then get the student discount on the nano, which makes it 180.. 80 bucks for a nano? i just want the small one, 500 songs is plenty for me, thats all i ever put on my mini

what color is the mini? 4gb? 6gb?

cough up the 10-20 bucks for a nice neoprene case/screen protector for the nano.... TRUST ME. as far as the mini, that sounds reasonable.

you could search craigslist and ebay briefly, to get an idea of how much used ipod minis go for..

yeah the nano has big screen issues in the first batch.. Just by having too much pressure from your jean pockets can cause it to break. Other than that its a sweet piece of electronics.

100 sounds pretty reasonable.

do those cases protect the screen from cracking?

There are different cases.. Look at em all and choose the best. If you want the best protection its going to take away from the nano's form factor because it'll increase the size probably by a factor of 2.

The mini is scratch heaven.:mad: Go get something else more worth the money.
