Default Wireless network peeps... is this possible?

Right now I'm accessing the internet via a 800G Wireless Bridge to some Fry's Special no-name 802.11g router (my roommate's). What I would like to do is this:

Continue to get access over the Moto 800G bridge, letting my roomie's router handle the NAT
Use My Moto WR850G Router as a switch/hub
Have my Moto WR850G providing my own, secure 802.11b network in my room (for my PSP), using the NAT off my roomie's router.

It should be _theoretically_ possible, but I can't quite get it to work... I could also use the WR850G as a WDS for his 802.11g setup, but that doesn't seem to work well and just confuse the hell out of the 800G. Ideas?

Im confused.. Are you looking to just add ports to a router using another router? IE an 8 point router?

I would replace that Fry's Special with something more stable. Routers are dirt cheap.

I tried using a belkin g router connected to a wired d-link router, and had the dlink handle dhcp and shit and it kept crashing the wired router.

try using a different channel for your router.

I have a wireless router, and then a wired router on a port from the wireless, with a few setting changes, I managed to get an 8 port router with wireless, for the cost of a single g router and some POS wired router.

so have the connection connected to the wired router/switch then uplink the wireless router done.
the problem is some wired switch require a little more work if they are over 10mbs. ex: a 10/100mbs (autosense) will not uplink automatically but a 10mb only will uplink automatically.

btw u can control the router by typing httP://192.168.1.(last number can b a 0 or 1 or 2 etc...) u get to control the firewall and manage traffic pretty well there .
