Default Ipod MINI

Does anyone know if the IPod can recod sutff? heres what i am looking for, I want to be able to connect a recorder in a standard "earphone" jack and record for days at a time. any ideas?

but that turns it into a voice recorder... I dont need that. what i need to do is similar to taking a CD player, play the cd and imput it straight to the Ipod to record the song using male-male h: jack. I just dont know if there is a record option and Imput on a Ipod.

the program given with the iPod, iTunes, will take any cd you have and rip it to mp3 or any desired format.

There's no way to directly record, but this is the way you get cds onto your player.




Minidiscs can do that.

Minidiscs can do that.
Its not a actual cd tho... its telephone conversations! it for work and i work in a Teleco fraud detection is the goal here. minidis? those stil exist? But i need like big storage, and to be able to transfer to my pc using USB port. hmmm maybe other MP3...I think i found the best thing: http://www.consumer.philips.com/port...p3-player.html

some Minidisk players and some mp3 players that record in audio dont allow you to transfer recording back to your computer. find a model that thas analog in recording and check the reviews to see if it allows you to do that.

the so called digital input is just the usb jack which is digital. the analog doesn't look like an input, its the stereo headphone output jack.
