Default dermatologist nyc area?

anyone in the nyc area know a good dermatologist? been getting some dry patches on my cheeks after i shave, and just wanted to know if the shaving or the shaving cream or whatever is irritating my face.

Spend $2, use a different cream. Still there? Stop shaving. Not there...its the cream.

i have tried a bunch of shaving creams, as well as switching between two, three blades, and electric razors.

Have you tried cream for extra sensative skin? Or even a woman's cream?

the only thing i havent tried is women's cream, i am using nivea sensitive right now. and i lather my face up a lot before i put the blade to my face.

try dryshaving. No cream, no water. Use a 2 blade bic. Works wonders.

Have you tried showering and then shaving? That is suppose to open up the pores more and make shaving less irritable to your skin.

i have tried something like that. i have a wash cloth warm up my face, then apply cream, shave, and the splash cool water on my face.
