Default PIR>Sac Raceway

Me and my W-Body boys went to PIR last night for the championship round of bracket racing for our group. It was my first time there and man, it's way better than Sac Raceway, I was impressed. And the turnout was crazy! Imports/domestics/exotics/motorcycles/diesel trucks........yes, diesel trucks. This one guy had a Dodge diesel pulling 12's all night!!

And there was this chick in a white teggy running low 13's all night too, she's pictured below.

Nope...Sac Raceway is a much better track than PIR ever will be. Uneven surfaces once you hit the end of the 60' gives uneven advantage to the tower lane. Add to that the infamous racoon issue that has taken out as many as 6 cars in a season and you have a surefire mediocre drag track.

You want real drag then go to Woodburn...makes PIR look stupid.

Yeah I've only been to PIR once and I wasn't too impressed. The track wasn't that great and it doesn't seem like it's the safest near the end of the track.

I've never been to Woodburn but from what I've seen in video clips its much better.

Nightshade- I did notice quite the bump at the 60ft. area...but I didn't run my car so I can't speak on anything else about the track. I've never run a Sac Raceway either, my comments were based on the look, PIR looks better. Better stands, better tower, the track looked better prepared from what I could see, PIR had a good snack bar, compared to the hole in the wall at Sac Raceway.
