I usually go start it, then come back to the house and brush my teeth, grab my lunch bag and head out.

I know that, I don't even have a oil temp gauge on my car, but usually if the coolant temp is warmed up the car usually is

wrong. i have an oil temp gauge in my car. it can take anywhere from 10-15mins for the oil temp to warm up. coolant will warm up within a few mins.

But I was talking about after driving the car for and hour, coming back in 15 minutes and starting it again, it shouldn't take 10-15 mins to warm up the oil then

Yea I let drop to about 1300 idle, which is normal for mine
