Default Info on cars.

Well, these are the two cars I am looking at to buy next summer. (keep in mind prices are subject to change; be lower then.)

RSX-s (2002-2003), for: ~$18,000
200hp I4, 6 speed, 2.0L with ivtec.
CITY MPG - 24
HIGHWAY MPG - 28

or:

Ford Focus SVT 3 Door (2004), for: ~$17,554
170hp I4, 6speed, 2.0L.
CITY MPG- 21
HIGHWAY MPG - 28

I just want to know some of the hear-say or experiences anyone has had with these cars. I am looking for a four cylinder, decent on gas (preferrably about 2.0L, maybe a little more). Insurance isn't what I am really concerned about, I currently drive a mustang and I'm sure you can imagine insurance is already a pain in the ass. However, I am looking for something fuel-friendly and gets decent MPG while also retaining style and horsepower. If anyone else knows anything that fits these categories, let me know. Also, let me know which one you would most likely pick on a college budget.

I'd say the RSX. Course then i did demo drive a svt focus for a week and they aren't too shabby. I love their interiors more than anything.

Ack! I didn't personally like the SVT's interior. Cheap looking. Plus the SVT has a higher center of gravity than the RSX.

Really, i actually didn't know that. Is it because it sits higher or because the car is shaped like a brick.
