Default Record Phone convo

Is there any phones or any services that allow to record your phone convo or that sort of things? Especially if you use a cell phone?

That would be illegal unless you inform the other party that they are being recorded

My LG VX something records entire calls with the push of a button...but I always forget to do it when I get funny prank calls

technically if you are recording it for your own purpose you can record it. i believe the federal law says as long as 1 party agrees (as in you) then it's legal. of course for law enforcement, it's a different story.

sux that mine can't. I want to call and place an order at dell and don't want them to back out on their words later on when they'd charge me MORE than the price they promised to give me for. A friend got screwed over twice and I'm not taking that chance.

Wrong buddy.

For civilians both parties have to agree to the recording for it to be a legal recording.

Yes you can do it for your own personal use without notifying the other, but if you use for humor purposes, to slander the person, for financial or emotional gain, etc, it can all be turned around on you and deemed illegal.

If a police officer is authoring the recording then only one party has to agree to the recording; Hence why I can record my conversations with suspects or contacts without them knowing (while working) -- because I'm "one of the parties."

They make little mics that you attatch to your phone to record. I have one laying around here, never used it though, don't know how to record on the computer using a microphone...h:
