Energy Drink Test:
just as a general warning ...
I was addicted to energy drinks. I'd take one very morning to get me moving ... sometimes I'd even drink one before going to the gym.
There's a valve that separates the esophagus from the stomach. With prolonged abuse of caffeine, it loosened up the muscles. Acid would wash up to the back my throat nightly. This would cause a vomit sensation, forcing me awake at night.
I couldn't eat properly. I couldn't sleep. It felt like the area between my ribs was hit with a baseball bat.
Red Bull, Rockstar, Monster ... these all have warning labels on them. "Do not consume more than 2 servings (1 can) a day". At 4 or 5 cans a week, I developed this medical condition. If you were to follow the warning, it's still not safe.
