wth is up with guys wearing their socks hiked all the way up their legs when they wear shorts?

Do they think this looks good?

Are they afraid of an even tan line?

Are they embaressed by their leg hair?


Someone please explain this to me?

I don't get how tho... I remember as a little kid, before I started shaving my legs, having my socks hiked up would REEEALLY bug the hair on my legs cause it would go in the opposite dirrection. :happysad:

 

well i wear socks all the way up my shins when i ski and that does bother the hair on my legs at all.. so i dont know

 

I have a couple pairs of regular socks, not the ones that look like you have none on.

I'll never understand. I was sitting next to a guy like that at the DMV today. I reeeeeeaaally wanted to ask him what was up with that.

 

I don't own anything other than ankle socks (besides some boot socks and dress socks of course for uniforms). If I find a non-ankle white sock anywhere in my laundry I dispose of it immediately.

 

Keeps me leg warms.

 

there are still people who don't wear ankle socks. they really bug me. if i wear shoes with shorts, i usually scrunch my socks down a little. but some people don't like their socks to be scrunched. just feels funny. when i wear pants, my socks go as tall as they can. it's just a preference.

i've started trying to wear ankle socks when i wear shorts, but it's still weird.
