dang man that just came right off there like someone took a knife and just cut em up I would't wanna ride on that shit man someone gunna get kilt on those things dang ole just come right off going round the 5th corner then just puttin too much weight on them there rims and just popped off like legos man. dang.

HRE sucks and they are banned from race tracks...considering they aren't "true race wheels" anyways I guess it's no real surprise, but for the price you pay for them you would think they would have better construction.

nteresting thread. The wheels in the picture didn't look like HRE wheels. So, I sent an e-mail off to the dealer that I purchased my HRE wheels from. Here is the reply: "Those are not HRE wheels, those are Kinesis K58s. That particular wheel was refinished before the race, and the problem was traced back to the strip process with was cycled at 500 deg F for 15 min. That process will no longer be used to strip powdercoat.
