Default rant: stupid drivers

got my civic about a week ago and its already totalled.

got rear ended by a truck while sitting at a stop light.. *sigh*

in just over a year iv gone thru 4 cars now..

mint accord.. side swiped/totalled
mint GSR w/ mods.. squished and totalled in huge wreck from a mustang speeding thru a red light at 100+
LS teg w/ mods.. blown engine from street racing, my own stupidity. lesson learned: dont street race.
low miles mint spotless factory condition civic lx.. totalled from someone rear ending me.

in between those cars iv also managed to get rear ended two other times.. thsi all happened in 13 months. WOW. people need to learn how to drive..

$88/mo

none were my fault, my insurance only knows about my gsr being totalled and that is because the guy that hit me didnt have insurance (and the mustang wasnt his either..) so i had to use my Uninsured Motorist..

I am sure that your "insurance" knows........at fault or not, you are working on being an "at risk" driver in the eyes of the underwriters. I know it sucks, and these haven't been "your fault", but I'd be extra careful if I was you.

Just consider yourself lucky not to have been hurt, and that you have had the opportunity to drive so many different cars. Out of curiousity, how many of these have been due to the other person being on the phone?

I had 4 marks against me and i had my policy canceled...none were my fault. I had to make a case for the underwriters, then they wiped them all off the record b/c i re-proved that they weren't my fault....never any change in $, just a PITA.
