Bored at work -- well not really bored, just so not in the mood to work that I'm putting off stuff I really should be doing.

Then my co-worker asks me to stay an hour late (and I say yes), and after work I've got to head to the Marine recruitment office.

This is entirely too long of a day for my first day back after a 3 day weekend.

6:00AM and I won't be home until around 6:30PM. Argh.

 

Tax payer's money are paying for you to work, get your ass in gear!

Tax payers aren't paying my salary yet, I'm not working in a Police Department just yet.

Perhaps within' a month, then you can say that. =]

 

Hourly, last pay period (2 weeks) I worked 130 hours -- 40 hours at 1.5x and 10 or so hours at 2x normal pay rate.

This Friday is going to be a good day..

Holy crap, thats awesome. Did you do it because you needed the money or are you just really busy?

 

I never stay late just to stay late -- normally I average 10-15 hours of overtime each pay period, last pay period was the exception because we had to do inventory.

However, most other times (like today), I'm staying because we need a body in the place or I've just simply got a lot of work to do.

Today is no different, except I have no motivation to do it! I did about 75% of it and now I'm slacking for the next hour. =]
