it really only works in work environments that are relaxed in the dress code. i usually wear jeans to work everyday. the past couple of weeks, i've started dressing up on wednesdays. tie, button down shirt, slacks (no jacket). people usually think it's because i have a job interview somewhere else, but when they ask, i just tell them it's because it's wednesday, dress up day. i'm seeing how long it will take for other people to start dressing up on wednesdays as well. i've gotten one other person to do it, and 2 people in my department told me they'll dress up next wednesday.

i put this out to you, people of HAN. dress up on wednesdays just for the heck of it. see what people say, and if they start to follow the trend you set.

 

monday through thursday is "dress-up wednesdays" for me :happysad:

i wear jeans everyday to work, or atleast 95% of the time. but its pretty casual around this office. people usually dress up when theres a meeting for them to attend to.

 

i bet you take your casual friday very seriously.

my office is split in 2 locations and most of our staff is out in the field
we have 2 case workers and 1 is out every thurs and fri and the other telecommutes on fri

 

unemployed, but soon to be an usher
