Default Freakin motor mounts

My driver's side motor mount has started to squeak, and even click during driving. I'm gonna poke around a bit more and determine if it's actually dying, as it's nearly impossible to check the integrity of that mount. Acuraparts247.com lists a replacement bushing at an affordable $133, and chances are that if that mount is going out at 167K miles, then the other *problematic* mounts ($60 and $70) are going to start being a replacement item soon as well. Anyone know of a place where I might be able to get some mounts for cheaper than that? :happysad:

I just have a hard time spending $133 for a piece of rubber that's smaller than my fist. Also, if I check the other mounts and they appear in largely good condition, would the ES mount inserts keep them in line for a while, or should I just replace them all before they cause issues?

Hrm the ES inserts will only make it squeek more...I mean it will help for a bit and make things solid but i dunno..i know a few people that have gotton a silicone compound and just reinforced the mount, supose to be stronger then the ES bushings. Or Just as good for cheaper. Try that instead if it still doesnt work, shell out the cash, or check junk yards.

I'm unbelievably tempted to do that h:

Now I just need a garage to let my car sit in while I do that, and for the upper torque mounts, I'll have to support the engine with either a jack or a cherry picker, right? (cause I need to let those suckers cure for at least 24 hours before I can put them in, and I think it would be best to support the engine during that time)

It is always safe to keep a jack under the engine when removing any of the mounts. One mount won't make the engine fall out, but it makes bolting it back up very easy.
