So I'm an idiot and I need help...
Long story short I'm an idiot.
Hit a small deer with my wife's Subaru last month. Rockauto had some parts but the bumper cover was the issue. Found the one in the picture (the front, post came down already) and I purchased it. Took appx 7 hours round trip to go get. Couldn't beat the price and the picture made it look great. Small scratch on the front, but it was worth it being OEM, no shipping and don't have to get it painted. My wife's car is white. The bumper in the picture looked white, so I didn't even bother to ask. I got blue dress/gold dress bamboozled. The bumper is olive green but because of the super green grass and the bright sunny day, it looked white in the picture. After driving that far I bought it anyways for $120, but now I need to paint it. Didn't see anything in DIY. Anyone do this before and have a guide or tips? :canada: https://images.craigslist.org/00U0U_...G_1200x900.jpg |
I'm not here to help, I'm just commenting to bump this up.

Quit being cheap and drop it off at a shop for $200 or so. The cost of a compressor, spray gun, water-removal, paint and prep will outweigh that cost for sure.

Thanks. I'm still looking for better deals.
Anyone do $150 and a bottle of liquor? |
