looking for an apartment and a car. What are some things that i should ask bout getting a car? I'm new to the whole buying my own car thing...

Well im moving in with a good friend for the time being...i was looking for cars in my area last night, and they had some nice honda's and intergra's but wats the going price lets say for like a 98-00 honda civic...i saw some from about 6,000-10,000

 

Get a 92-95 for your 1st time buying a car. Unless you don't care about price. Where are you moving in PA? And what price range are you looking at?

 

Check out edmunds.com for the estimated value might be. I would also jump on autotrader and see what they have in your area as well. :thumbup: That way you can also see the going price for the kind of car you want. Good luck.

 

:werd: I second autotrader, you can find some really nice cars on there for decent money. if you want a lightly modded civic, it shouldn't be hard to find. post up what your thinking about and we can tell you if its a good buy or not.

anyway, I'd say if you don't know much about cars and buying used cars as it sounds is the case, I'd have a mechanic check over any car you are very serious about buying, otherwise you could be stuck with something with tons of problems and not even know it till it's too late.
