Today was a good day v2.0

Today I found out that I secured a residency spot in Anesthesiology next year. This has been about the most stressful 3 weeks of my life waiting for these results. Start my new job as a Resident Physician on July 1st. I graduate from medical school in two months. Baby is due in 11 weeks. Shit's getting real, fast.
Can't believe I'm going to be a freaking Anesthesiologist. When I first started college I could barely pass my classes.
AND PHAT. I'M COMING BACK TO NOLA BBY! FOR GOOD! THE DREAM LIVES!

Finished my intern year of 80-100 hour weeks of general internal medicine. Now doing 50-60 hours a week of Anesthesiology. Life is much better.

Who ever thought we'd be looking forward to the 50-60 hour weeks. I worked film sets last year as a Teamster and we had rolling start times throughout the week that started around 4 am Monday and we'd wrap up at 8 am Saturday, with only 8 hours off in between shifts.
