Laptop battery won't charge :(
 

My battery in my laptop will not charge it always says 0% and charging then it will say 100% charged and if I pull the A/C power it goes blank like it has no power. The battery is a Lithium-ion.

Computer works fine on A/C power

I called HP and they want like over $150 for a battery.

Somone suggested I update the drivers for the battery and power system :confused:

Any other suggestions before I buy a battery?

I have always cycled this battery aleast 1 time every two weeks, I would not think a lithium-ion battery would just croak out of the blue like a Ni-cad :(

same happend to my gf laptop except it wasnt recognized at all by the machine
its not under warranty is it?

Happens on laptops, they all die eventually, mine lasts for 17 minutes now :(.

I took her apart, found nothing out of place. I guess im gonna order a new battery.

I've gone through 3 or 4 batteries on my laptop. Luckily I get them for free :rick:

No eBay batteries for me, Not even a genuine parts and yet is only $20.00 cheaper. I think I will by direct from HP

Try the google ad for batteries.
