Gas
Question regarding gas, with gas prices sky rocketing and it not even being summer yet, I want to know whether or not paying the extra money for higher octane gas is worth it, do you really gain anything from the higher octane or is "regular" all you need? I am driving a 05 Accord Sedan 4cyl, just wondering if gas matters. Any insight? Anybody?
4 cyl accord..... gas don't really matter.. if you have high performance car, then yes. it does make difference. my friend just got 350z, and the dealer actually told him to put supreme gas to get it's max power.
if you read the car manual book, they say regular gas 87 is good for you. Don't waste your money on supreme! save your money for new car! =)
but if I had to answer your question.. yes it does boost a little bit..
but it's 4cy accord.... lol how fast could it get? so it's your choice...
I would stick with regular for now

don't waste your money, especially with prices as high as they are. go for the better fuel economy, you can still have fun in the accord with regular gas. they only exceptions I would say is if you have an H22 or your running a turbo.
Premium gas is a waste of money unless the manufacturer recommends using Premium... and even then, you can typcially step down to 89 octane without any risk of damage.
In general the lower the octane, the better the mileage... if both are equal quality fuels.

Thanks guys, I didnt think it mattered much just thought I would ask, sorry for not searching for previous posts, but you never know if people thoughts or ideas change when prices are up or down.
Thanks.
Thanks.
