hey guys, just kinda want your opinion on somethin.

so im selling my mugen MR5s. i have a complete set, with all 4 center caps and all 16 lug covers. yokohama es100 tires.. i'd like to get $1200 for em, but i'll prolly end up getting around 1000.

a member from another board wants to trade me $650+ a set of LS mesh wheels with 90% tread stock michellin tires.

someone else emailed me offering $900 cash, picked up.

i have a $1500 credit card bill im trying to take a chunk out of, but i also want some wheels for spring/summer, so if i do sell for 900 bucks, some of that will go toward wheels/tires. i was planning on some oem wheels like si/fat fives/blades etc. (or the stock VW bbs mesh wheels i talked about in the 'how jdm are you?' thread.) im not a huge fan of LS meshes but i like em okay.

what would you do? :dunno: :thinking:

 

if ur not a huge fan of the mesh, just get the 900. and buy some other rims. i bought nice nice looking rims for only 250 with tires. so just look around for a good deal

 

As fast as you go through things, if you're not a fan of the LS wheels now, you'll be itching to get rid of them pretty quickly. Sell them straight up, pay off your credit card as much as you can, and call it a day.

 

get the money and let me steal your music for my ipod and call it a day.

its not that i dont like the LS mesh, its just not my favorite of the 'popular OEM wheels'

im still not sure what imma do.

 

i know somebody selling those '96 gs-r wheels. ya know the ones im talkin about...kinda rare. if you'd like them i think he'd sell them for 300-400 with good tires....

i like fat fives and si wheels the best. blades are alright too.

i was planning on getting those vw bbs mesh wheels for 300 but then i'd need to put tires on em. maybe i'll just rock the LS mesh for now. i have some other things i need to take care of.

 

i dont like 'em much either. wasnt sure if u did tho. im with you tho. but i like the LS-Mesh wheels too...i dont know about on your car tho. i still have them beat up Fat Fives on my car but i have some rotas in my room waiting for tires.

i want to trade my slipstreams for some blades (blades + cash preferrably for the slips.) ... any of you know any MD people that would want to do that?
