Now that's high quality service!

As explained earlier in this thread, I park my car in my apartment building's underground garage which connects to street level with a nice steep ramp. It snowed a few inches last night. I woke up rather early this morning for no good reason, and looked out the window to see the driveway still snowed in. A bit later some dude came by with a snowblower and cleared off the sidewalk, but left the driveway alone. Before I could get mad though, along came a bulldozer to clear out the driveway. I must say, that's pretty freakin cool.

at my old condo they'd shovel and salt at around 4am... i.e. a crew of loud assholes would wake up the whole complex at 4am.... I'll manage the goddamn snow, thank you.

my place doesn't even bother to clear it. cars coming in and out pretty much flatten the snow into a nice compacted sheet of ice.

oh no I wouldn't... I have no snow service here, and I'm perfectly happy. The only reason they did it was so nobody would sue, and to be honest, anyone who sues because they slipped on ice is a dick anyway. grrrrrr

Okay great mister snow shoveler man, you can go right ahead and shovel snow if you please. I on the other hand enjoy sitting on my couch doin nothin in particular so if dudes with snowblowers and bulldozers feel like clearin out my building that's mighty fine by me.

i don't shovel, I just drive over the shit... winter tires :D

the maintenance guys like me, so when they see me trying to shovel out the back of my car (i can drive over the mound of snow they make when they plow), they take the plow really close to my car and clear it out for me :D plus they plow all day, so when cars leave they clear out the snow thats left over.

My mom slipped and fell on her tailbone because the grocery store didnt have their parking lot cleared properly. She now has extreme back problems and can barely walk sometimes. If i were her, I wouldve sued.
