Default anyone repair monitors?

I have an older Nokia 447Zi monitor that just fades out sometimes. It's always fadded back in after a while, but the amount of time it takes is getting longer and longer.

It'll also sometimes it seems like one of the guns died and everything goes florecent.

Just buy a new one. I imagine fixing it wouldn't be worth the cost of aggravation.

Well if I find out that I just have to change out 5 resistors and 2 caps, I'd definatly take that for $5 than going and buying a new one. Besides, it gives me a great excuse to open up a monitor and work on it.

I got a used one from a friend for $35. More than what I was looking to spend... but it'll do.

you have to discharge the tube first, after that (as long as it's not plugged in) it's just like any other circuit to work ok.
