Am I crazy for thinking this?
 

As some of you know I'm selling my 1989 Civic Si. I finally got around to posting it on Autotrader.com and got alot of emails.

One was from a guy about 10 hours away. He sounds very promising except for two small things.

He wants me to drop the price to $1500 because he has to fly in to pick up the car. I told him what kind of request is that? I said since you have to fly out here to pick up the car I HAVE TO DROP MY PRICE? That's ridiculous!

So then he said ok fine that is totally reasonable. He said he was flying into BWI (Baltimore Washington International) next week if he can still buy the car. Well then he goes on saying that should be close enough for you to pick me up, right? I'll meet you at the airport and you pick me and my wife up.

What th F---? Am I being weird about this? If you buy a car you arraige your own transportation and other nit picks to get the car, right? I said I would meet 1/2 way up to 60 miles from Lancaster. BWI is 100 miles or more one way.

This guy sounds like a fvcking fruitcake. I wouldn't even sell it to him because he's such a retard.

imo, and i dont know how much money you are asking for the civic, but if the price was dropped significantly from the originial asking price, let this guy go, its probably not worth it. plus, as you mentioned, you have to drive 100 miles each way to take care of this dude.

i think its not worth it.

He probably won't be there.
