Anyone see "It Takes A Thief"?
I think it was on TLC or Discovery channel. Pretty cool show. The episode I watched they interviewed these 3 guys (who looked like they were living in Scarsboro, NY) who shared this house together. All bachelors. Camera crew and main person were going through their house seeing what they had and how they had their house secured.
The guys usually leave the house unlocked, the garage with expensive snow mobiles is unlocked, sliding door doesn't even lock. The main owner of the house had a Piccasso painting in his house that was priceless, a drawing of JKF that was an original, DVD players, etc.... So they leave the house and the camera crew sets up cameras around the house as a professional thief breaks into the house. Didn't even have to kick down a door because the sliding door was unlocked. Took the guy 10 minutes to ransack the whole house, call his buddy, and make off with stuff. The looks on the guy's faces were like death. Yes they got their stuff back, and the program paid to upgrade security on the house. But the main owner of the house went to run a quick errand, and left the front door unlocked - STUPID! So everyone just walked into the house. Good show. Stupid people :) |
i'd get too paranoid if i watched that show.

If a thief wants your stuff bad enough, he'll get it.
Period. |

I watched that last night too. :)
I turned it off before they helped them with the security after the ransackage. |
