Sometimes its just kinda boring? Today all I'm doing is looking up people's credit reports and processing applications for home loans not the most fun thing to be doing

Do your guys' jobs ever sometimes seem kinda boring and repetitive and like you aren't really getting anything accomplished?

Don't you get that feeling like you are wasting your life?

 

no, i'd feel like i was getting paid to do basically nothing.

at the bookstore we used to scan books for returns, and it took forever. Open book, scan, open book, scan. It was so easy though, i would just zone out. I'd keep thinking, I'm getting paid 6.50 an hour to do this? awesome!

 

my life is generally busy. i get bored really fast though.

Yup, my job has been repetitive for a long time. I call up alums, I bug em for money, they either give or they don't give. That's it. I've probably made the same phone call hundreds of thousands of times. It's mind numbing. But it's also the best-paying part-time job available on campus, it looks pretty decent on my resume, and a lot of my friends work there.

 

Repetitive work can be alright at times, I use to work at a call center where it was pretty repetitive and it was fun.......however this is a job that you gotta get out and talk to people and get more contacts and more clients...........this is work that has to be done, but its not very fun..........
