Default Fresh squeezed orange juice

Man I love fresh squeezed orange juice, have a large supply of oranges, since this is California and all so I have been drinking it by the gallon. Got most of the oranges from the folks' trees, but their next door neighbors have a tree that hangs over the fence, so I poached a bag from there too. The thing is, the people next to my parents are mega lib democrats. I sort of expected the oranges to be bitter, because of where they came from, but surprisingly enough, they were just as sweet as can be.

I think you're thinking of "sour grapes."

By the way, how's that deregulated energy market working out for you? :P

workin' out okay for me, it is the living in a welfare state where 20% of the people are on the dole in one way or another that is killing me(Incredibly enough, that is an accurate number). One of the myriad problems here are the people that want to drive SUV's, have all the electricity they want to use, but are not willing to have any power plants or roads built because it damages the environment. Grapes aren't in season.

What does any of this have to do with the oranges you stole from your neighbors?

Technically, they are not stolen if they are hanging on your side of the fence, at least in Cali. I was just responding to your deregulated energy comment. The electricity in Sacto is not too bad. We get it from SMUD(Sacto Municipal Utility District) This end of the state has plenty of water, hence hydroelectric power. The larger problem here is the irresponsible state legislature that is controlled by the labor unions and the Democratic folks who are owned by them.

So its okay to take the oranges that you didn't work for but not okay for poor people to take welfare?

Here's a free lesson in grammar: "democratic folks" are any folks who participate in a democracy. You probably meant "Democrats," with a capital "d."

No, he just wants to say that "mega lib democrats" are "bitter" without actually having a story to tell. Its pretty transparent if you take another look.
