So I am thinking about going and buying one today.


Any pointers or things I should look for? And what accessories are good to have?

get a refurb'ed machine if you wanted to mod it eventually ...

get a new one if it's going to be a tv adapter for halo.

I know you're prolly gonna wanna mod it so i would say look for a refurbished one with a phillips drive as thomsons are likely to die on u....but then if u mod it u really wont use the dvd drive....so get whatever u want

Hold lemme find the link that shows you how to tell if its a thomson drive...you're gonna have to ask the place u buy it from to open it and plug it up.

after looking at that it is definatly the thomson, the other ones just look alien too me, i think i would have noticed
